The Azyla Lab quiz and blend recommendations are intended for general lifestyle and wellbeing purposes only. They do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Essential oils are not medicine. They are not intended to treat, heal, cure, or prevent any illness, disease, or medical condition. If you have a health concern, please consult a qualified healthcare professional before use.
Children under 6, and infants
Many oils that are safe for adults are not appropriate for children under 6. If your household includes young children, please tell us in the quiz — we will recommend blends from our Gentle Series, formulated with this in mind.
We do not recommend diffusing essential oils in rooms where infants under 12 months sleep or spend extended time. If you have a baby at home, please consult your paediatrician or healthcare professional before use.
Pregnancy and medical conditions
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please consult your midwife, obstetrician, or healthcare professional before using any essential oils. If you tell us in the quiz, we will recommend our Gentle Series — however this is not a medical endorsement of use during pregnancy. Your doctor or midwife has the final word.
If you or anyone in your household has a medical condition — including asthma, epilepsy, high blood pressure, or any condition for which you are taking prescribed medication — please consult your doctor before using essential oils.
Pets in the home
Essential oils can be harmful to some animals. Cats are particularly sensitive to many common essential oils, including eucalyptus, tea tree, lavender, and citrus oils. If you have pets, ensure the diffusion space is well-ventilated and your pet can leave the room freely. Consult your vet if you are unsure.
Sensitivities and allergies
If you have known sensitivities or allergies to specific botanical ingredients, please let us know in the quiz. We will take this into account in your blend recommendation. Full ingredient lists are available on each product page.
